Mud, sweat and tears – The story of Pauley Creative’s Tough Mudder 2019

We knew Tough Mudder 2019 was going to be a challenge. With 10 miles and 25 gruelling obstacles to overcome of course we knew…

…But no amount of training from our incredible fitness trainers, Gav and Joe from GWD Performance, could have prepared us for what was to come.

Just over 4 hours later with many scrapes, cuts and bruises (and with a little bloodshed for good measure), the team at Pauley Creative smashed our biggest physical challenge yet. And we did so together as a team (with Joe by our side), whilst helping and being helped by the other incredible challengers at the event.

By the end, some of us were in pain, the rest in denial and all of us just in need of food… and the free can of beer we received to take the edge off.

Would we do it again? Never backing down from a challenge the answer would be yes – although maybe with a small amount of hesitation… after all two of the obstacles actually electrocuted us!

I know, shocking right?

So what’s next for the Pauley Creative team? The Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. 25 miles of non-stop walking with an elevation gain of over 1000m… And we can’t wait!
