Our approach to creating a construction marketing strategy

Implementing a well thought out and coherent strategy can be the difference between success and failure. Without a marketing strategy and plan, you end up running sporadic campaigns based on gut feel.

Our team of experienced marketers develop strategy driven by research and insights. We use research to make sure we know your current situation & exactly what direction your company wants to go in.

This allows us to implement strategy lead tactics, which are set out on a sustainable and achievable monthly timeline of activity. This means you can focus your efforts on tactics that are going to deliver you real results, which can be backed up with injections of campaign activity at critical times.

This will flip your mindset and will mean you stop relying on random campaign activity to meet your objectives. We’ll help you get a steady stream of qualified sales leads through your door, using a tried and tested approach.

Our approach to strategy follows a simple process, which is underpinned by the SOSTAC model. You may have heard of it before, as it’s a marketing theory originally developed in the 1990s by P R Smith – so it’s one that’s stood the test of time for digital marketing planning.

SOSTAC-approach

Essentially, SOSTAC is an easy to remember model that includes all of the main components needed to build a digital marketing plan. We break it down into 3 phases;

Phase 1: Research, strategy & planning

Before going head first into strategy development, you need to understand exactly where you are now, where you want to be & understand how to fill in the gaps. This is why the situational analysis phase is so important.

You need to understand things like:

Your current customer base & what they think of your brand & products
Your competitors
The market you operate in
Your current marketing performance
Business & sales goals

Once you understand your companies current position, you can map out exactly where you would like to be.  Ultimately, this will lead to you being able to map out your short and long term goals & objectives for your marketing, which is aligned with your overall business goals.

Phase 2: Test & implementation of tactics

Once we know your marketing objectives, we can then begin to build a marketing plan using the right tactics to meet those goals. Tactics could include things like SEO, PR, Paid Media & Social Media. We can implement and test these tactics to learn what is right for you and your customers.

Phase 3: Review & refine

Then once we’ve started to implement, the most important part is to review, measure and refine this activity.

The importance of aligning your construction companies business, marketing and sales goals

As the relationship between sales and marketing becomes ever closer, it’s vital that your departments are aligned. Working in a silo from one another is likely to result in duplicated effort, and wasted time and money.

We work closely with our clients marketing & sales teams to enable your business to grow, create cohesive strategies & coordinated efforts which leads to better use of budgets and time.

Why our approach to building marketing strategy will save you time and money?

We will always get under the skin of your business to understand your goals and priorities. This will ensure we develop a strategy & deploy tactics with the sole focus of meeting your objectives. This will get you better results, faster.

The packages we offer contain different information depending on your desired outcome; this ensures our work is tailored to your individual business needs.
